PCD is an extremely strong cutting material. Its hardness offers excellent resistance to wear and abrasion during cutting. For geometrically defined cutting tools, PCD is the most productive and economical. It is ideally suited for machining non-ferrous work pieces and can be subjected to the most extreme machining conditions. CBN is second only to PCD in hardness and is the cutting material of choice in high performance machining of hard ferrous materials such as: steel above HRc40, steel alloys, cast iron, inconel, stellite, etc.</p>
